Nicholson Trophy (Knock-Out)
Open to all handicaps 0-26.
Draw to comprise top 16 Stableford scores at Spring Meeting.
Winner holds the Nicholson Trophy.
Runner Up holds the Docks Board Cup.
All play shall be off Yellow Tees.
Full Handicap difference.
Current SSGS Handicap Index to be used.
1st named player (1st round only) to have choice of venue.
Thereafter venue to be mutually agreed or determined by Competitions Secretary (or other designated person).
Any costs to be shared equally.
Results to be notified to Competitions Secretary ASAP.

LVH Trophy
Open to all handicaps 0-26.
Best 3 Stableford scores from Spring, Summer, Championship, Autumn & Winter Meetings.

4 BBB Competition
Winners hold the Lyons Cup.
Runners Up hold the Sinclair Cup.
All play shall be Medal play off Yellow Tees.
Current Society Handicap Index to be used.
Full Handicap difference.
1st named players (1st round only) to have choice of venue.
Thereafter venue to be mutually agreed or determined by Competitions Secretary (or other designated person).
Any costs to be shared equally.

Championship Knock Out Cup
Match Play Competition Open to Division 1 handicaps.
Draw to comprise top 8 Div 1 scores at Championship Meeting.
Winner holds the Master Mariners Cup.
Runner Up holds the Cachalot Cup.
To be played from the Yellow Tees of the day under Society Handicap Index current at time of play.
1st named player (1st round only) to have choice of venue. 
Thereafter venue to be mutually agreed or determined by Competitions Secretary (or other designated person).    
Final to be played on a neutral Course with a Referee (if appropriate). 

Presidents Putter
Open to past and present SSGS Presidents.
Winner holds the John Smith Challenge Cup.

Society Handicaps, as a result of competition wins, are dealt with by the Competitions Secretary and cannot therefore be amended by Members.
